In 2025, the Universal Orlando Resort will expand with the highly anticipated launch: Universal Epic Universe. This new addition to the award-winning complex promises an unparalleled experience, packed with over 50 attractions, diverse entertainment, amazing dining options, and unmissable shopping opportunities.

A few months ago, we talked about this super attraction here on the blog, and now in this article, we will update you on the confirmed news about the park and also the progress of the construction.

Our excitement is through the roof to check out what promises to be the biggest theme park in Orlando, how about yours?

What Epic Universe will be like

Epic Universe is more than just a “simple” theme park, it’s a complete destination that will turn the Universal Orlando Resort into an ideal choice for a full week of fun and adventure.

With a wide range of attractions and experiences, this new park promises to captivate and enchant visitors of all ages.

Located just over a 10-minute drive from the current Universal complex, at the intersection of Kirkman Road and Universal Blvd, Epic Universe is a colossal endeavor that will cover an area of over 3 million square meters.

Celestial Park – the heart of Epic Universe

With winding green areas, meandering watercourses, and hiking trails, Celestial Park reintroduces the essence of a park in a themed environment. Displaying vibrant gardens, which extend alongside bright waters and are embraced by magnificent architecture, inspired by astronomical and mythological elements.

In this area, visitors have the opportunity to relax while enjoying the landscapes and sounds around them, dive into an exciting adventure on the roller coaster by boarding a falling comet, enjoy a variety of delicious dishes, purchase exclusive products to remember their visit, and much more.

Celestial Park will serve as a starting point to explore the four additional worlds of Epic Universe, each inspired by extraordinary adventures that surpass visitors’ imagination.

Through a series of imposing portals, which capture the imagination and creativity of each world, visitors will be taken on a transcendental experience when traveling from Celestial Park to The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic, where a distinct era of the magical universe will be revealed in a completely new area that blends the magical atmosphere of 1920s Paris, from the Warner Bros. Pictures’ Fantastic Beasts films, with the iconic British Ministry of Magic from the Harry Potter franchise.

The Super Nintendo World, where visitors will enter through the famous green pipe and discover a new way to play by entering the world of beloved characters such as Mario, Luigi, Princess Peach, and Donkey Kong.

How to Train Your Dragon – Berk Island, where visitors will have the opportunity to fly with dragons in a vibrant world full of Viking adventures, based on the famous How to Train Your Dragon film franchise, and the Dark Universe, where visitors will encounter everything from Dr. Victoria Frankenstein’s experiments to the dark landscape where monstrous creatures roam in a world of myth and mystery.

Breath-taking experiences

Visitors will also be able to enjoy Starfall Racers, a double-launch roller coaster that will take them flying through the skies, aboard comets, in a race to determine the fastest of all.

Reaching speeds of up to 100 km/h and altitudes of up to 40 meters along a 1,524-meter track, Starfall Racers promises to be the most thrilling roller coaster experience at Epic Universe, with exclusive maneuvers, such as the Celestial Spin, where the two roller coaster vehicles cross inverted while accelerating through the air – providing an “extraterrestrial” adrenaline rush.

The Constellation Carousel – the centerpiece of Celestial Park. Here, adventurers of all ages will enjoy a fantastic ride aboard constellations that advance, retreat – and even spin 360 degrees – through the Milky Way, in a choreographed dance to the sound of music and the glow of stars.

World-class gastronomy

In addition to thrilling attractions, Epic Universe will offer a wide selection of dining options, from full-service restaurants to quick-service locations.

From authentic Asian cuisine dishes at the Blue Dragon Pan-Asian Restaurant to delicious barbecues at The Oak & Star Tavern, visitors will have the opportunity to embark on a culinary journey around the world.

Universal Helios Grand Hotel – a unique lodging experience

For those wishing to extend their experience at Epic Universe, the Universal Helios Grand Hotel will offer a truly unique stay.

With 500 luxurious rooms and stunning views, this hotel will transport guests to a world where skies and earth meet.

Commitment to sustainability

In addition to offering world-class entertainment, Epic Universe is also committed to environmental sustainability.
From energy efficiency to sustainable construction practices, this new theme park is an example of Universal’s commitment to a greener future.
