A very important point for those staying in Orlando during their Disney vacation is where to stay. The city has countless options of hotels, houses and even themed hotels where you and your family will feel immersed in the Disney world.
The tip we give to those traveling with children is not to stay so far from the park route. The longer you stay in a car, or van until you reach your destination, the more you kids get to be bored and angry, and you don’t want to cause stress and inconvenience on a day that has everything to be magical, do you?
Another important thing to note is about eating during park hours, especially if your child has some kind of food intolerance. Children tend to have a more sensitive stomach than an adult, and contact with American sauces and ingredients can cause eating disorders in young children (when it comes to those not used to it – foreign), which can end up disrupting the tour altogether.
If it is possible, choose staying in a place that has a kitchen, so you can buy food at a supermarket and prepare some snacks for the basic food of children during the fun day. Items such as fruits, juices and plenty of water can not be missed, put everything in a cooler bag that is comfortable to carry and joy is guaranteed.
We suggest that you freeze bottled water and juice the night before so it will thaw during the ride and you will have cold water. These tips are not just for saving money, but mainly for saving time. As you wait in a giant lines to see or play at some attractions, enjoy the moment to eat cereal bars, fruits and hydrate. If every time you feel hungry or thirsty you go to a kiosk or restaurant inside the parks you will lose a lot of time. However, don’t stick yourself only to the foods you can prepare! Disney parks have a variety of kids’ menu with delicious portioned foods that will be enough to fill them with, usually accompanied by some fruit slices (apple) or a delicious cookie for dessert and drink of your choice. Disney’s Epcot is the park where you have to be curious to taste, with typical restaurants from various regions of the world, you can have dinner in Japan and then have a delicious ice cream dessert in France.
